     Kalista’s Fine Chocolate is a proudly Canadian, family owned and operated business. In 1999, Graham and Doris Beam started creating chocolates as a home-based business in Brantford, Ontario. The name Kalista’s was chosen for its meaning, “most beautiful one”. The focus of the business began as, and continues to be, making chocolate creations from the highest quality ingredients with amazing attention to detail. All of the products are made with a dedicated love of artistic creation and over 30 years of culinary experience.

     In 2003, Kalista’s expanded to a new retail and production location at 385 St. Paul Avenue, in the heart of the city. Brantford is best known as the birth place of hockey legend Wayne Gretzky and the invention of the telephone. Kalista’s has now become a sought-after destination within the community for quality chocolate and a unique gift that people will remember. The reputation of Kalista’s chocolate creations attracts customers from all over Canada. In August 2009, Kalista’s launched its ecommerce website which now allows customers to have Kalista’s Fine Chocolate shipped anywhere in the country.
